Is out of webspace error – Plesk 10

This post is applicable to those who use Plesk version 10 in Windows Hosting environment,When you receive “Internal error : is out of webspace” while trying to click hosting settings for the newly created domain in Plesk panel, use following steps to fix this error.

First, open command prompt as administrator and run following commands for PSA data base:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>dbclient.exe –direct-sql –sql=”SELECT id,name FROM domains WHERE htype=’vrt_hst’ AND id NOT IN (SELECT dom_id FROM hosting);”

This will list the domains having issue.

Then run following

C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>dbclient.exe –direct-sql –sql=”UPDATE domains SET htype=’none’ WHERE htype=’vrt_hst’ AND id NOT IN (SELECT dom_id FROM hosting);”

This will fix the issue for you.Just in case if you are still getting same error and in event viewer you see following error related to IIS

A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070520)

Follow steps below .

Run commands for PSA data base again:

Remove both SSL certificates assigned to Plesk CP in IIS management console

Run Plesk reconfigurator => Repair Plesk installation => Repair services

Once done, the issue will be fixed. But in this situation we strongly recommend you to recreate the domain through Plesk panel so that it properly gets added.

According to Parallels update, this error usually happens when domains were created partially due to  invalid SSL certificates in IIS (Windows 2008 versions). This bug is fixed in latest version.

So, it is highly suggested to use latest version of Plesk in order to avoid this error in Plesk v10.
